nail polish

So, this yet another post about my niece, Karynne. On Sunday I decided to paint Karynne's toe nails. She was so cute and sat so still. When I was done I blew on her toes to help them dry faster...Karynne copied me and started blowing on her toes.

Now, yesterday I decided to do a touch-up on her toes (because she did not wait until they were fully dry before she started running around, so some got rubbed off). I redid her toes and put the nail polish in my room on the table. My grandma came home and took Karynne upstairs, and I proceeded to work on my last paper for college. About 20 minutes later Karynne comes walking into the office with my bottle of nail polish...and guess what...it was EMPTY. That's right...EMPTY.

She had such a huge smile on her face as if to say "look, I did my own toes...aren't I pretty." Oh boy! Her feet and hands were covered in nail polish. I then go into the living room and there is the big pink blob of mess on the carpet! Ah! I just shook my head and scolded her nicely. She looked just so innocent about it, it was hard to get mad (probably a good thing). So I proceeded to clean up the pink blob all the while thinking I need to keep my bedroom door shut whenever Karynne is over. It wasn't her fault, I should have put it in a spot where she wouldn't get into it. I'm still smiling about it....

"hi baby!"

So, my niece Karynne is absolutely adorable (though she can be a little stinker at times). Anywho, her new favorite phrase is "Hi baby!" The first time I heard that I just busted up laughing. I had come downstairs where my granda and Karynne were. Karynne comes over to me and says "Hi baby." She now goes around to everyone and greets them with "hi baby." It's quite cute. She's so energetic and enthusiastic about her new favorite phrase. Ah, just thinking about it makes me laugh.

Now, where did she learn this, you may wonder. She learned it from her parents, of course.
