So I learned that I really loud and stormy night makes my bad dreams even worse bad dreams. I had two incidents last night where I either jumped (literally jumped) out of bed or fell out of it.
The first incident I was having a dream...all I remember was this giant spider falling from the ceiling and onto my bed. I don't want to be in bed with a spider, so naturally (out of fright) I jumped out of my bed. But I
really jumped out of my bed. That dream felt so real that my body literally took action to get me out of harm's way. I even checked to see if there was a spider their, ready to eat me. Then I tried to calm myself down and go back to sleep.
The second incident is due to the wonderful thunderstorm we had last night. I don't know if I was completely asleep or not, but I could hear the storm going on outside: wind blowing and some light thunder. Then all of a sudden....
BOOM!!!! A loud crack of thunder, and
THUD, onto the floor I went. That thunder was so loud I was sure the lightning that caused it had hit our house (or somewhere very close to it). So there I was, on the floor wondering what the hell had happened (pardon the french). I look up at the clock, it is three in the morning. Noticing my predicament, I got up. I was a little shaky, and I will admit, scared (to the point of tears, almost). I got a grip of myself and went back to bed for the second time that night.
Now, I love thunderstorms, but this one got me freaked for some reason.
